Let's Focus Our Love on Him! First of all, Carolyn and I
along with our entire Board want to say ‘Thank You’ for ‘Your Partnership in the Gospel’. You have
supported us through prayer and financial giving over the years and we know without your faithful partnership we couldn’t
accomplish the task at hand. It always amazes me to see the very hand of Jesus in our partners.
In this special
month of hearts and love, February, let’s focus on the one who loved us so unconditionally that He gave His life so
that we could become the “…children of God...” 1John 3:1. And as we continue in His love, let’s pray
for opportunities to share The Good News all across our homeland beginning with our friends and family members who are without
Christ.
Jerry and Sally had the privilege to spend their 45th anniversary in Hawaii this year and, wouldn’t
you know it, they visited 3 churches while they were there! I am following up with each of these pastors and trusting God
for what He will do. I am also following up with Jerry and Sally’s pastor in Manteca who said he has a real interest
in an HNA project! I have talked to a pastor here in Mansfield and am following up with him soon! The potential of 5 projects
are almost within arm’s reach, yet what we know is that we are on the front lines in this battle called evangelism;
we need your fervent prayers for these pastors to be responsive and for me as I share the opportunity for a Harvest Project.
We pray God’s blessings on each one of you and once again say ‘Thank You’ for your steadfast
partnership in the Gospel!
Love in Christ,Doyle and Carolyn
My name is Topper Robinson and I had the privilege of traveling to
Mountain Home, Idaho as part of the team from Sayre, Oklahoma. From the beginning, the Lord used me in ways I never dreamed
possible.
I
was led to be a part of a video that my preacher, one of our deacons, the congregation and myself made. It was designed to
make their team feel welcomed when they came to Oklahoma. Another purpose was to let their Church know just how excited we
were to come see them. I'm also a person who has had some problems with drugs and alcohol. I was being led to write their
pastor, James Gregory, a letter and volunteering to visit anyone with a history of substance abuse. Well the Lord really blessed
me beyond my expectations. It was almost like the folks I visited were hungry for someone they could relate to. I give God
all the glory for that. He started working in the lives of folks there long before the team from Sayre got there. The Sunday
morning service was the best service I've ever been a part of. As I'm writing this testimony I feel emotional. Our preacher,
Gary Baird, preached the best sermon I'd heard him preach. Jess Parker sang ''Make Way For The King.'' Their music director,
John, played his guitar and sang “Do Lord”. I played the harmonica along with him. If I could have had all the
things happen that I wanted to happen on this trip I would've sold myself short compared to what God did for all of us. It
was the greatest trip of my life.

"I
am the way..." (John 14:6)
Shalom in Messiah! As you read this newsletter the Super
Bowl will have been played or about to be played in Indianapolis and the NFL will crowned a new “World Champion”.
How wonderful to walk around knowing you are the victors. There is no guessing and only one way to be crowned. You have to
win every game in the playoffs and then defeat your opponent in that final game. This is the only way to be world champs.
How often as believers in Jesus do we get chastised for believing there is only one way to get to heaven. When
Jesus pronounced, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.” (John
14:6) He was not coming up with something new. Most people believe that Christians are intolerant of others by this belief.
Would these same people think the NFL is intolerant because there is only one way to win the Super Bowl? As you can see, most
people have no problems with “one way” mentality when it comes to sports and other things, but when applied to
religion, they can’t seem to fathom there is only one truth.
As I stated above, this is not a new idea that
Jesus started. The idea of people telling others the truth about God goes all the way back to Mt Sinai. When God took the
Jewish people out of Egypt, He brought them together and asked them a question? “If you will obey my voice…you
shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” (Exodus 19:5-6). The Jewish people accepted this challenge and
thus the term “Chosen People” was established. The Jews were chosen to bring God’s truth to the other nations
of the world. By doing this, they would be upholding God’s words and truths as the only way. When gentiles come to believe
in Jesus, they have been grafted into the Jewish nation, by the Jewish Messiah and thus inherit this chosen ness as well.
When the NFL crowns a new champion they will spread this good news for the world to know. This year Harvest North
America will embark on new campaigns that will match churches in one city with another to help share the “Good News”
of Yeshua. They will not be competing with each other, but will be on the same team and know their victory crown won’t
come till later. The sad news is the team that wins the Super Bowl is only champ for a year - the good news is ours is eternal.
As Timothy wrote, “In the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge,
will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing (2 Timothy 4:8). May the year
2006 be a winning year where many come into the kingdom of God!
In Him, Mitch and Kina Forman
